the american dream

the american dream can be discribed in many different ways. but i think that the american dream is a country with no prejutice and where no one will fight about wars and hate their own country men for it. but this is not possible because of peoples way of thinking and their emotionsto a subject. one of these subjects is the war in iraq and in war in general. most people call it a way to spread democrice through the world and to stop the tearoists/other bad things in the world, some poeple say that we are only there for oil and that all this death and distuction wasn't needed. they call for peace and salvation. there has also been the argument of "that can't be peace without war. but i think that we are there for a good reason for war and that is to help the people in their trubbled country or if their lives are being thretined by a higher power and for the people who where attacked by somthing so that the attacking force can gain more power and land. we fight to protect them and ourselves. another conflict that we are facing that will interfear with my american dream is the duscution at the united states and mexico border. few people are at the border right now "protecting" us from the illegle immigrents. while the people that are trying to come to america are just trying to get a better life for them and their family. the US government has laws that only let a few people in the country. i think that if we let more people in each year there would be less contreveresy on this topic. america is also divided in the prosuit in knowlege. education somtimes think that we cant handle some information and take it out of are school or ontil we are old enough. but there are some people that think that we can handle that information at a young age so we can us it to help the world and individual people that need it. knowlege also comes with controverce. i think that we should be taught all that we want but not all people want to learn and that why i think that the government is hiding information from us. all of these topics above have their sides of the story and some people like to show the world how they feel, with protesting. people protest for their ideals and for what they believe in. sometimes people protest for things they dont even know about. i think the main reason people protest is for somthing bigger then they are. with protesting, people are trying to tell what they think the american dream is. these are the reasons that my american dream will never come true but i hope that we can come close.
